What Separates Hope From A Dream?

We all know who has the loudest voice here

so you'll listen to your friends and your fears

Just remember if the truth had a tone it would be deafening

It's so sad to see the worst get the best of you

And the best of me

Because my thoughts get so hopeful

And my hope gets me emotional

The truth is this hope is so hopeless

And the moment is slowly passing us by

I think it’s time to stop wondering why

So please don’t cry

When the time comes, and I’m gone forever

So please don’t cry

When you’re all alone, and you’re trying to remember

What separates hope from a dream

Now you’re dreaming of me

Try and keep your thoughts together.

You knew the silence would be so deafening

I’m so sad that I’ve seen the fall of a lost love

And what is lost in me

We both thought we were hopeful

Promising to never let go

But the truth is that hope was so hopeless

And our moment has passed us by

How are you still wondering why?

Please don’t cry

When the time comes, and I’m gone forever

So please don’t cry

When you’re all alone, and you’re trying to remember

Those times you kept locked in a frame

Those words that will only drive you insane

How that hope felt when you dreamed we were sharing a name

No please don’t cry

When you’re all alone, and you’re trying to remember

What separates hope from a dream?
